Father’s Day Wish List 2016

Smart phones are in demand this father's day.

Smart phones are in demand this father’s day.

The boys have been writing their lists and checking them twice. Here is what the Digit IT team want to open this Father’s Day. We hope they offer some inspiration … or something for the boys to think about when they open their hand-painted coffee mugs and socks on Sunday 4 September.

Ben Dampney – Fitbit Blaze – $369.95

“I want to be rewarded for my fathering efforts with a Fitbit Blaze this year. At $369.95 this is very unlikely, but I have told Amy that is will help me measure my workouts, track activity and get me to appointments on time.”

The watch is offered in four colours, is water resistant and offers music control.

Matt Smith – Apple Watch ($495 to $24,000!!!!)

Father’s Day actually came early for Matt, who purchased the Apple Watch 42mm a few weeks ago (NB – Matt got the $495, not gold plated $24,000 model).

Matt said he’s enjoyed a few aspects of the device, including the Fitness monitoring and activity apps.
“I also find the notification updates fantastic as this enables you to quickly see new emails, text messages and other updates, including Facebook,” Matt said.

“However, with any first generation product, the device is bound to have its weak points and I sometimes find the unit to be on the slower end of the scale. But overall I am happy with the watch and find it very useful.”

Craig Berry – Wireless Key Finder Set ($21.68)

“I have a habit of misplacing things on a regular basis, so something like this would make mornings a little less stressful when trying to find keys, wallet and phone before going to work.”

We hope you have a lovely Father’s Day!
